Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) hair removal works by emitting pulses of intense light into the pigmented hair follicles, which is then converted to heat. The heat loosens the hair and disables the cells responsible for growing new hair.
Treatment areas can include the face, underarms, legs, bikini line, chest, back and more. Sessions are relatively quick, ranging from a few minutes for small areas to about an hour for larger ones. We encourage to shave the areas before treatment. If you are unsure if your hair is dark enough for an effective treatment, you make leave a small patch of hair to be analyzed by our aestheticians during your consultation.
