Essence Laser & Wellness, P.C., is happy to introduce Kimberlee Barnes, MD, OB/GYN. Dr. Barnes will be bringing her expertise to Essence to perform procedures in Feminine Rejuvenation, including the technology based device, Ultra Femme 360; and the O-shot.
Dr. Barnes is from Michigan originally, and attended Michigan State University for both undergraduate, graduate, and medical school. She moved to Denver in 1986 to complete her residency training in OB/GYN at St. Joseph Hospital, and has since called Colorado home.
Over the past 28 years, Dr. Barnes has been in private practice in the Denver area. During that time, she took a hiatus to work for the US Army, taking care of service members in Germany.
Her long-time passion has been the care of patients with menopausal symptoms as well as Gynecologic surgery and well-woman preventive medicine. The philosophy that she embodies is “patient care and teaching first”.
Outside ,the office other interests including sewing and many crafts, taking care of her two Labrador retrievers, exercise and fitness, skiing and recently vegetarian cooking. Dr. Barnes is married and has one grown son.
